# Joining the Voice Channel

* To join a voice channel, simply click on the channel you want to join (for example, 1-on-1 BURNR"). You’ll be immediately connected, and your microphone will be active.
* If you’re joining for the first time, you may be placed in a **waiting room** until your coach is available.
